Ken il Guerriero: Le Origini del Mito Extreme Edition #2

Ken il Guerriero: Le Origini del Mito, known internationally as Fist of the Blue Sky, serves as a prequel to the classic Fist of the North Star series. This Extreme Edition was published to provide fans with a high-quality, definitive reading experience, featuring updated print techniques and larger formatting to showcase the gritty, detailed artwork. The story follows Kenshiro Kasumi, the 62nd successor of the Hokuto Shinken style, navigating the criminal underworld of 1930s Shanghai.

The series is the work of original creator Buronson and artist Tetsuo Hara, who returned to the franchise to explore the origins of the legendary martial arts lineage. Their approach maintained the iconic hyper-masculine aesthetic and intense combat choreography that defined the original series, while weaving a more complex, noir-inspired narrative. The Extreme Edition was received by collectors as a premium archival release, prized for its improved paper quality and fidelity to Hara's distinctive, muscular character designs.
