La Nouvelle Vie de Lili #9

La Nouvelle Vie de Lili was a French comic series published in the mid-20th century, primarily aimed at a young female audience. The series emerged during an era when illustrated storytelling for girls was expanding significantly in France, following the success of earlier adventure and domestic-themed comics. Issue number 9 reflects the typical episodic nature of these publications, which often balanced modest moral lessons with lighthearted, everyday narratives.

The visual identity of the series was defined by the prevalent illustration styles of the period, characterized by clear-line art and a focus on character-driven scenarios. While individual artists on these series were sometimes uncredited or worked under house pseudonyms, the design intent was to provide accessible, affordable entertainment for youth. The series is remembered today as a relic of post-war European children's print culture, often sought after by historians of ephemeral illustration.
