Where it came from
La Nueva Patrulla-X #97 is a localized Spanish-language edition published by Ediciones Forum during the 1980s. This series brought the iconic Marvel Comics X-Men titles to the Spanish market, playing a vital role in popularizing North American mutant lore among Hispanic readers during a period when international distribution of American comics was expanding significantly.
The interior content adapts the original Marvel source material from the Chris Claremont era, which was renowned for its intricate character development and ensemble storytelling. These Spanish editions were designed with standardized graphic layouts to maintain a consistent aesthetic across Forum's broad portfolio of superhero titles, serving as a staple of the era's newsstand culture and a formative influence on European comic fandom.
