La Zorra y el Cuervo #118

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic magazine that emerged during the mid-20th century, serving as a cultural staple for generations of readers on the island. Published under the editorial guidance of the state-run publishing house, the series featured localized adaptations and original strips centered on the classic fable characters, reflecting the distinct aesthetic and narrative sensibilities of Cuban editorial cartooning throughout the late 1960s and 1970s.

The design and illustration of these issues were typically handled by a rotating staff of accomplished Cuban illustrators who sought to blend traditional folk wisdom with contemporary satirical humor. Issue 118, like others in the series, functioned as both entertainment and social commentary, and was received as a beloved fixture of children's literature, valued for its accessible language and the expressive, clean line work that characterized the era's print medium.
