La Zorra y el Cuervo #13

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic book series that gained significant popularity during the latter half of the 20th century. Issue number 13 emerges from a period where the publication served as a primary source of lighthearted, sequential storytelling for children in Cuba, drawing heavy inspiration from the classic La Fontaine fables while adapting them into a distinct, localized visual aesthetic.

The character designs and narrative tone were crafted to balance educational moral lessons with accessible, slapstick humor. Created under the cultural climate of the era, the series utilized a recurring cast of anthropomorphic animals to explore themes of wit and folly. The artwork is characterized by clean lines and expressive character poses that became synonymous with the Editorial Pablo de la Torriente imprint, earning the series a lasting legacy in Cuban pop culture history.
