La Zorra y el Cuervo #167

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic book series centered on the antics of a cunning fox and a gullible crow, clearly inspired by the international success of the Warner Bros. Looney Tunes characters. Launched in the mid-1960s, the publication served as a primary source of humor and entertainment for generations of Cuban youth, often blending traditional fables with a distinctly localized, vibrant aesthetic that reflected the cultural climate of the era.

Issue #167 reflects the artistic standards maintained by the Editorial Juvenil and later Editorial Abril, which oversaw the series' production. The creators utilized a graphic style characterized by bold lines and expressive character work, aiming to keep readers engaged through slapstick narrative tropes. While original illustrative credits were frequently omitted in the spirit of collective publishing, the series remains a significant artifact of mid-century Latin American graphic storytelling and mass-market print culture.
