La Zorra y el Cuervo #226

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic magazine, established in the late 1960s as a vital component of the state-run publishing effort to provide entertainment for children. It focused primarily on translating and adapting international comics, most notably those from the socialist bloc, while occasionally incorporating original Cuban illustrations that reflected the cultural aesthetics of the era.

Issue number 226 emerged during the magazine's established run, serving as a staple of youth literature that emphasized didactic storytelling and colorful, sequential art. The design of these issues relied on accessible, high-contrast printing techniques typical of the period's resource-constrained environment, which has since given the publication a distinct place in the history of Latin American print media as a cherished artifact of mid-century childhood.
