La Zorra y el Cuervo #33

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic series that gained significant popularity during the mid-20th century. Published by Editorial Abril and inspired by the classic Aesop fable, the series transformed the traditional characters into recurring protagonists in a uniquely Cuban cultural context. Issue number 33 emerged during a period when the publication served as a staple of youth literature, blending moral storytelling with the lighthearted, often mischievous visual style characteristic of the era's regional cartooning.

The visual design of the series was defined by expressive line work and anthropomorphic characterizations that echoed mid-century animation trends while maintaining a distinct local aesthetic. Artists working on the title focused on accessible, sequential storytelling that resonated with families and children across the island. The series is remembered today not only for its narrative longevity but as a significant example of Cuban illustrated media, maintaining a dedicated following among collectors of Latin American print heritage.
