La Zorra y el Cuervo #36

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic magazine that emerged during the mid-20th century, serving as a cultural staple for generations of readers. Heavily influenced by international storytelling traditions, the series focused on satirical and humorous vignettes featuring its titular fox and crow, mirroring the classic tropes found in fables. These issues were produced during a period when comics in Cuba were evolving to balance entertainment with social commentary, often reflecting the unique aesthetic sensibilities of Latin American illustration.

Issue number 36 represents a characteristic installment from the magazine's run, showcasing the collaborative efforts of local illustrators and writers tasked with maintaining the publication's whimsical tone. The design prioritized bold, expressive line work and accessible narratives, which helped the title secure a dedicated following. While individual issues are now sought after as historical artifacts of regional print media, they were originally intended as ephemeral, widely circulated reading material for the general public.
