Linda og Valentin - Agenter i Tid og Rum #15

Linda og Valentin - Agenter i Tid og Rum #15, titled Les Cercles du Pouvoir or The Circles of Power, was originally published in 1994 as part of the influential French science fiction comic series created by writer Pierre Christin and illustrator Jean-Claude Mézières. Emerging from the vibrant French comics scene of the late 1960s, the series is widely regarded for its pioneering visual style and its philosophical approach to space opera, blending political satire with imaginative world-building that profoundly influenced later science fiction cinema.

For this specific volume, Mézières utilized a distinct, dense artistic style that reflects the complexity of the narrative's central setting, the planet Syrte. The design choices emphasize a crowded, baroque aesthetic that mirrors the story's themes of bureaucracy and political maneuvering. The work was well-received by critics and readers alike, solidifying its place as a cornerstone of European graphic literature and demonstrating the creative partnership's ability to evolve their characters' adventures through increasingly sophisticated social and environmental themes.
