Linda og Valentin - Agenter i Tid og Rum #16

Linda og Valentin – Agenter i Tid og Rum #16, titled 'De tusind planeters by' in its original French serialization and subsequent Danish collection, represents a significant entry in the long-running science fiction series created by writer Pierre Christin and illustrator Jean-Claude Mézières. Debuting in the late 1960s within the pages of the French magazine Pilote, the series was groundbreaking for its blending of space opera with social satire and complex, multi-dimensional world-building that influenced generations of genre creators, including those behind Star Wars and The Fifth Element.

The visual identity of this volume is defined by Mézières' distinctive, fluid linework and imaginative creature design, which sought to depart from the sterile tropes of pulp science fiction. By the time this specific installment was produced, the series had firmly established its reputation for intellectual depth and environmental awareness. It was received as a cornerstone of European bandes dessinées, celebrated by critics for its sophisticated narrative pacing and the dynamic, egalitarian partnership between the protagonists, Linda and Valentin.
