Linda og Valentin - Agenter i Tid og Rum #19

Linda og Valentin - Agenter i Tid og Rum #19, known in French as 'Par les temps qui courent,' was created by the legendary duo of writer Pierre Christin and illustrator Jean-Claude Mézières. Debuting in the late 1960s, the series broke ground in European science fiction by blending space opera with socio-political commentary, and this late-run volume continues the pair's tradition of navigating complex temporal anomalies. The artistic style in this era reflects Mézières' mature approach to character design and immersive, sprawling backgrounds that define the series' aesthetic identity.

The narrative within this issue explores the duo's struggle against entropy and the manipulation of time, a recurring motif that mirrored the creative team's own reflections on their decades-long collaboration. Upon its release, the volume was recognized for its sophisticated approach to the medium, maintaining the series' status as a cornerstone of Franco-Belgian comics. Readers and critics alike have long praised the work for its influence on the broader genre, often citing it as a major inspiration for modern science fiction cinema and literature.
