Lupo Alberto Collection #6

Lupo Alberto, created by Guido Silvervestri in 1974, remains a staple of Italian comic culture, originally debuting in the newspaper Corriere dei Ragazzi. The collection series was designed to anthologize these strips, which center on the life of Alberto, a blue wolf living on the McKenzie farm, and his attempts to woo Marta the hen while constantly thwarted by the sheepdog Moses. The series maintains the character's transition from a simple newspaper strip to a multi-generational cultural phenomenon, capturing the satirical and often self-deprecating humor that defines the McKenzie farm dynamic.

This sixth volume serves as a continuation of the archival efforts to preserve the classic Silver strips. The design philosophy throughout this series emphasizes clarity and portability, allowing readers to engage with the evolution of Silver's minimalist, expressive line work. Upon its release, the collection was received as a essential resource for long-time readers and new fans alike, praised for its role in keeping the legacy of the McKenzie farm accessible decades after its inception.
