Magia Record: Mahō Shōjo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden #12

Magia Record: Mahō Shōjo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden issue 12 is part of the manga adaptation of the mobile role-playing game released by Aniplex. The series, which launched in 2018, acts as a spin-off to the widely acclaimed Puella Magi Madoka Magica franchise, introducing a new cast of magical girls within the city of Kamihama. The adaptation seeks to translate the game's intricate narrative and character-driven focus into a serialized format, retaining the dark, atmospheric themes characteristic of the original series while exploring new lore.

The manga is illustrated by Fuji Fuji Fuji, who maintains the distinct aesthetic established by the franchise's original design team. The twelfth volume continues the visual language of the series, balancing detailed character expressions with the abstract, surreal barrier designs that define the combat sequences. Upon its release, the volume was received by fans of the franchise as a necessary entry for those following the expanded story arc of Iroha Tamaki, serving as a vital component in the ongoing narrative tapestry of the Magia Record universe.
