Sun-Ken Rock (Perfect Edition) #1

Sun-Ken Rock was originally serialized in Young King magazine between 2006 and 2016, created by the South Korean artist Boichi. The series follows Ken Kitano, a young man who moves to Seoul to join the police force in pursuit of his love, only to accidentally find himself leading a powerful street gang. The Perfect Edition serves as a premium, oversized reissue designed to showcase the intricate, high-contrast line work and cinematic compositions that have become the artist's hallmark.

Boichi is known for his dedication to anatomical detail and dynamic action sequences, which are presented with greater clarity in this collected format. The Perfect Edition emphasizes the series' evolution from a standard crime drama into a visually ambitious spectacle. It has been well-received by fans of seinen manga for its technical prowess and its gritty, stylized interpretation of the underground underworld, marking a significant entry in the author's extensive bibliography.
