The Savage She-Hulk #25

The Savage She-Hulk #25, published in March 1982, represents the final installment of Jennifer Walters’ original solo series. Created by Stan Lee and John Buscema in 1980, the character was initially conceived to capitalize on the popularity of the television show The Incredible Hulk by introducing a female counterpart. By the time this issue was released, the title had struggled to find a consistent creative direction, leading to the series' conclusion despite the character's growing popularity.

The issue features a story written by David Anthony Kraft with art by Mike Vosburg and Frank Springer. The narrative focuses on the conclusion of the character's early adventures, positioning She-Hulk as a standalone figure rather than a mere derivative of her cousin. While the series was cancelled at this point, the character would go on to become a staple of the Marvel Universe, eventually finding sustained success in team books like the Fantastic Four and the Avengers later in the decade.
