Tougen Anki: La Leyenda de la Sangre Maldita #2

Tougen Anki: La Leyenda de la Sangre Maldita is a manga series created by artist Yura Urushibara, which began its serialization in Weekly Shonen Champion in 2020. The narrative centers on Shiki Ichinose, a boy who discovers his heritage as an ogre and enters a conflict against the descendants of Momotaro. This volume serves as the second installment in the collected tankōbon series, furthering the character development and world-building initiated in the debut.

The series is noted for its distinctive, high-contrast aesthetic and themes centered on mythology and violent inheritance. Urushibara employs a sharp, dynamic art style that aligns with contemporary shonen conventions while exploring darker, visceral subject matter. Upon its release, the series found a steady audience among readers interested in folklore-inspired action, with the Spanish-language edition published by Norma Editorial introducing the title to a wider international market.
