Tougen Anki: La Leyenda de la Sangre Maldita #3

Tougen Anki: La Leyenda de la Sangre Maldita is a dark fantasy manga series created by mangaka Yura Urushibara. It began serialization in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion in 2020. The story explores the conflict between humans and Oni, centered on a protagonist who discovers his own supernatural heritage. This specific volume, the third in the series, serves to deepen the world-building and establish the internal stakes of the narrative as the main character integrates into the Momotaro Agency.

The series is noted for its high-energy, visceral artistic style, which emphasizes the violent nature of the battles between the series' factions. Urushibara’s visual approach draws on traditional Japanese folklore regarding Oni, reinterpreting these mythological entities through a modern, edgy aesthetic. This volume reflects the artist's goal of balancing character development with intense action sequences, a hallmark of the series that has helped it find a dedicated readership within the seinen and shonen demographics.
