Tougen Anki: La Leyenda de la Sangre Maldita #4

Tougen Anki: La Leyenda de la Sangre Maldita is a dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Yura Urushibara. It began serialization in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion in 2020. The narrative centers on Shiki Ichinose, a young man who discovers his heritage as an Oni and finds himself caught in a centuries-old conflict between Oni and Momotaro descendants. The series is noted for its kinetic, stylized action sequences and a grim aesthetic that plays with traditional Japanese folklore.

Issue number 4 continues the early developmental arc of the series, deepening the lore regarding the institutionalized warfare between the two factions. Urushibara’s design approach emphasizes sharp, aggressive linework that mirrors the series' volatile themes of blood and revenge. Upon its release, the title gained a dedicated following for its departure from standard shonen tropes, positioning itself as a grittier entry in the modern action-fantasy landscape.
