Captain Phasma

Captain Phasma was introduced to the Star Wars universe in the 2015 film The Force Awakens as the formidable commander of the First Order's stormtrooper ranks. Clad in distinctive, reflective chromium armor, the character was designed to evoke a sense of imposing authority, drawing inspiration from early concept art for the original trilogy's stormtroopers. The figure reflects the high-contrast aesthetic of the character, emphasizing the sleek, metallic finish that set Phasma apart from the standard-issue troopers.

Funko released this Pop! figure as part of the initial wave of merchandise for the film, numbering it 65 in the Star Wars series. The design process focused on translating the character's cinematic silhouette into the signature stylized aesthetic of the Pop! line, featuring the oversized head and simplified features typical of the brand. Upon release, it served as a key entry in the expansive Star Wars collection, appealing to fans of the franchise's new antagonists and the specific visual evolution of the First Order’s military regalia.
