Cheshire Cat [Diamond]

The Cheshire Cat Pop! figure, designated number 1199, was released by Funko as part of their Disney series to celebrate the enduring legacy of the 1951 animated classic, Alice in Wonderland. This particular 'Diamond' variant features a glitter-infused finish, a stylistic choice Funko frequently employs to denote special editions of iconic characters, aiming to capture the surreal and shimmering nature of Wonderland's most enigmatic inhabitant.

The design draws heavily from the character's distinct aesthetic in the film, characterized by his wide, toothy grin and mischievous posture. Funko’s design team opted to render the figure in a stylized, oversized-head format consistent with the broader Pop! aesthetic, emphasizing the Cheshire Cat's signature stripes. Upon release, the figure was well-received by collectors who gravitate toward both the classic Disney animation style and the tactile, shimmering quality of the Diamond collection series.
