Cloud City Duel (2-Pack Scene)

The Cloud City Duel 2-pack was released by Funko as part of its Pop! Star Wars line, commemorating the climactic confrontation between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back. This specific set was designed to capture the iconic moment on the gantry of Bespin, where Luke faces his destiny and discovers the truth about his parentage. The figures reflect Funko's signature stylized aesthetic, distilling the complex, atmospheric tension of the 1980 film into a compact, collectible display format.

Funko’s design team leaned into the high-contrast aesthetic of the scene, utilizing the familiar, oversized-head silhouette that defines the Pop! brand. By grouping these two characters, the set serves as a narrative piece meant for fans seeking to recreate cinematic moments on their shelves. Upon release, the set was received as a standard addition to the expansive Star Wars line, appealing to collectors who favor specific scene-based character pairings over individual figure releases.
