Han Solo (Hoth) with Tauntaun

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Star Wars line, this figure commemorates the iconic sequence from The Empire Strikes Back where Han Solo ventures into the harsh Hoth climate. The design captures the character in his specialized cold-weather gear, paired with the creature he famously used for shelter. Funko developed this as a two-piece set to reflect the film's memorable survival moment, balancing the stylized proportions of their signature vinyl aesthetic with the practical details of Han's parka and the textured appearance of the tauntaun.

The figure was well-received by collectors for its status as a 'Super-Sized' or deluxe release, offering a departure from the standard single-character boxes common in the series at the time. It serves as a tribute to the visual storytelling of the 1980 film, specifically the desperate measures taken by the protagonists on the ice planet. By focusing on this specific narrative beat, Funko tapped into the nostalgia of the original trilogy, maintaining their commitment to documenting key cinematic milestones through their expansive catalog.
