Where it came from
Cruella de Vil, the iconic antagonist from Disney's 1961 animated classic One Hundred and One Dalmatians, was originally brought to life by animator Marc Davis. Davis designed the character to embody a sophisticated yet sinister aesthetic, utilizing sharp angles and a high-fashion, fur-obsessed persona to contrast with the chaotic warmth of the dalmatian puppies. Her design, marked by her signature split-dyed hair and dramatic cigarette holder, remains a hallmark of mid-century character animation.
This Funko Pop! iteration, numbered 1647, serves as a contemporary tribute to this enduring villainess. Produced as part of the wider Pop! Disney line, the figure maintains the stylized, large-headed aesthetic characteristic of the brand while capturing Cruella's distinctive pose and ensemble. It is designed for modern collectors who appreciate the intersection of classic animation heritage and contemporary vinyl toy culture.
