Where it came from
Cruella de Vil, the iconic antagonist from Disney's 1961 film 101 Dalmatians, represents one of the most recognizable figures in cinematic villainy. This Funko Pop! figure, numbered 1090 in the Disney Villains series, was released as part of the broader Pop! Disney line, which seeks to translate animated characters into the brand's signature stylized, large-headed vinyl aesthetic. The design captures her characteristic black-and-white hair, fur coat, and cigarette holder, elements that have defined her visual identity since Marc Davis first animated the character for the original feature film.
The figure serves as a modern collectible tribute to a character designed by Disney's legendary 'Nine Old Men' team. In the context of contemporary pop culture collecting, this piece is part of an expansive sub-series dedicated to Disney's rogues' gallery. It was received as a standard addition to the Pop! Disney line, appealing to fans of the classic animated film and general collectors of character-focused vinyl figures who value the character's legacy as a fashion-obsessed archetype in film history.
