Fox Mulder

The Fox Mulder Pop! figure, designated number 1614 within the Television series, was released by Funko to commemorate the enduring legacy of The X-Files. The series originally premiered in 1993, created by Chris Carter, and defined a generation of science fiction television through its exploration of the paranormal, government conspiracies, and the complex chemistry between FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. This specific figure represents the modern iteration of Funko’s character interpretations, focusing on capturing the signature silhouette and professional aesthetic of Mulder as he appeared throughout his investigations.

The design of the figure adheres to the standardized Funko aesthetic, featuring the oversized head and simplified features characteristic of the Pop! line. It reflects the stylistic choices of Funko's in-house design team, who aim to distill iconic media characters into recognizable, minimalist forms suitable for display. While the initial X-Files Pop! figures were produced years prior, this later entry serves to reintroduce the character to a new generation of collectors who prioritize completionist sets and specific aesthetic refinements in current production standards.
