George Harrison (Yellow Submarine)

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Rocks series in 2012, this figure commemorates George Harrison as he appeared in the 1968 animated film The Yellow Submarine. The design captures the film’s distinctive psychedelic aesthetic, characterized by the surrealist artistic direction of Heinz Edelmann, whose work defined the visual language of the movie. Funko adapted these stylized, vibrant character designs into the iconic bobblehead format to celebrate the band's enduring influence on pop culture and animation history.

The figure features Harrison in his signature Pepperland-era outfit, reflecting the whimsical and colorful nature of the source material. Upon its release, it became a staple for collectors of both music memorabilia and animation-related figures. It remains a representative piece of the broader Beatles merchandise line, marking a specific intersection between rock music history and the mid-century modern artistic revival that the film popularized.
