Hanuman (Silver)

The Hanuman Funko Pop figure, numbered 42 in the Pop! Asia series, was released to celebrate the iconic monkey deity from the Hindu epic, the Ramayana. This piece emerged as part of Funko’s broader strategy to expand their international reach by honoring cultural figures and folklore from diverse global traditions. The design adapts the traditional iconography of Hanuman—notably his monkey features and muscular physique—into the signature stylized, large-headed aesthetic that defines the Pop! line.

The decision to include Hanuman within the Legendary Creatures & Myths umbrella highlighted Funko's effort to blend pop culture collectibility with mythological subjects. The silver variant, in particular, is a chase or specialty edition that shifts the character's typical vibrant color palette into a monochromatic metallic finish. As with many figures in the Pop! Asia line, it was received primarily by collectors interested in the intersection of contemporary toy design and non-Western cultural iconography.
