Where it came from
Kagome Higurashi, numbered 768 in the Pop! Animation series, was released by Funko to commemorate the enduring legacy of Rumiko Takahashi’s classic manga and anime franchise, Inuyasha. Designed to capture her iconic school uniform aesthetic, the figure represents a significant expansion of Funko's representation of long-running shonen titles within their collectible lineup, aiming to provide fans with a tangible connection to the series' central protagonist.
The figure features Kagome clutching her bow, reflecting her role as the reincarnation of the priestess Kikyo and her pivotal combat contributions in the Feudal Era. As part of a wider wave of Inuyasha figures, the design prioritizes Funko’s signature stylized aesthetic while maintaining key character signifiers like her hair ribbon and outfit, receiving a generally positive reception from collectors for its accessibility and faithfulness to her primary character design.
