Leatherface

Leatherface, cataloged as number 1119 in the Pop! Movies series, was released by Funko to celebrate the iconic antagonist from Tobe Hooper’s 1974 horror classic, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The figure captures the character's signature look, featuring the unsettling skin mask and the weathered apron worn during his pursuit of his victims. It serves as part of Funko’s ongoing effort to memorialize legendary figures from the horror genre, appealing to fans of slasher cinema and the visceral legacy of the original film.

The design follows the traditional Funko aesthetic, characterized by a large, stylized head and diminutive body, yet it incorporates specific textures to mimic the rugged, grimy appearance of the character. As with much of the Pop! horror line, the figure was created to bridge the gap between niche collector memorabilia and mainstream pop culture iconography. It was received primarily by fans of the horror franchise who appreciate stylized renditions of cinema history, fitting neatly into the broader ecosystem of collectible figures that represent the darker side of film production.
