Leo

The Pop! Zodiac series was launched by Funko as a thematic expansion of their signature vinyl figure line, intended to tap into the enduring popularity of Western astrology. Released as part of a collection representing each of the twelve zodiac signs, the Leo figure was designed to embody the archetypal traits of the fifth sign, typically characterized by confidence and creativity. The figure adopts the established Pop! aesthetic—a stylized, oversized head and simplified body—to create a consistent visual language that allows collectors to display the full cycle of the year.

The design of the Leo figure incorporates specific iconography associated with the lion, the sign's celestial representative, integrated into the character's attire and accessories. While the series was intended to appeal to casual astrology enthusiasts rather than traditional toy collectors, it became a notable entry in Funko’s broader catalog for its attempt to gamify personality traits through collectibles. Upon its release, it was received as a straightforward, lighthearted gift item, fulfilling its purpose as a desk-ready conversation piece within the vast Funko ecosystem.
