Where it came from
The Little Pale Girl Pop! figure, numbered 1749 within the Pop! Movies line, is based on the haunting character from the 2019 film Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. Produced by Funko, the figure draws inspiration from the creature designs originally conceived by Stephen Gammell for Alvin Schwartz’s classic book series, which were adapted for the screen by director André Øvredal and special effects artist Spectral Motion.
This specific iteration features a glow-in-the-dark finish, a signature Funko aesthetic choice intended to evoke the eerie, spectral quality of the film's source material. The design captures the character's unsettling, elongated proportions and distinctive pale features, serving as a collectible tribute to the film's focus on practical effects and Gammell's iconic, disturbing illustrations that defined the childhood nightmares of many fans.
