Luther

Luther Hargreeves, also known as Number One, is part of the Funko Pop! Television series based on the Netflix adaptation of The Umbrella Academy, which premiered in 2019. The character is central to the narrative, depicted here in his signature uniform from the show's first season, reflecting his role as the loyal but conflicted leader of the Hargreeves siblings. This figure was produced as part of the broader merchandising initiative for the show, capturing the aesthetic of Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá’s original comic series translated through the lens of live-action costume design.

The figure design follows the standardized Funko aesthetic, emphasizing Luther's hulking physical stature to distinguish him from the rest of the collection. The item was released to coincide with the growing popularity of the show's ensemble cast and the stylistic, often dark humor associated with the franchise. As part of a wave of figures featuring the main Umbrella Academy siblings, it was received primarily as a collectible for fans of the source material, aimed at capturing the iconic silhouette of the character amidst the show's debut period.
