Vanya

Vanya Hargreeves, numbered 934 in the Pop! Television series, was released by Funko to coincide with the popularity of the Netflix adaptation of The Umbrella Academy. Based on the dark horse comic series written by Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá, the figure captures the character’s aesthetic from the show's first season. The design team focused on translating the minimalist, melancholic uniform worn by the Hargreeves siblings into the signature stylized proportions of the Funko brand, emphasizing the character's reserved nature before her transformation into the White Violin.

Upon its introduction to the market, this figure joined an expanding collection of franchise-related merchandise intended for fans of the source material and the streaming series. It represents the broader attempt by Funko to capture the gritty, supernatural tone of the show's ensemble cast through a cohesive set of collectibles. The reception was largely positive among enthusiasts of the franchise, who sought to display the full academy lineup on their shelves as a tribute to the show’s unique visual storytelling.
