Where it came from
Mad Moxxi, the iconic bar owner and quest-giver from the Borderlands video game franchise, was immortalized as a Pop! Games figure under number 43. Released as part of the initial wave of Borderlands collectibles by Funko, the figure captures her signature look from the series, complete with her top hat and elaborate, eccentric cabaret-style attire that defines her character within the game's post-apocalyptic setting.
The design of the figure leans into Funko's signature stylized aesthetic, distilling Moxxi's complex, layered costume into a simplified form while maintaining her distinctive facial features and colorful palette. The figure was produced to cater to the growing audience of the Borderlands franchise, which is celebrated for its unique cel-shaded art style and irreverent humor. It remains a representative piece of the broader Pop! Games line, reflecting the crossover between mainstream gaming culture and vinyl figure collecting.
