Provenance

Where it came from

Released as part of the Pop! Games series, this figure depicts Reaper, one of the original heroes from Blizzard Entertainment's team-based shooter, Overwatch. Introduced during the game's initial surge in popularity around 2016, the figure captures the character's signature dual-wielding aesthetic and ominous, skull-masked silhouette, which serves as a centerpiece of his lore as a mercenary.

The design was created by Funko's internal art team, who aimed to translate the intricate, gritty character models of the Overwatch roster into the simplified, stylized vinyl aesthetic synonymous with the Pop! brand. The action pose variant was developed to reflect the dynamic nature of the game, and the figure was generally well-received by collectors for successfully capturing Reaper's distinctive personality within the constraints of the series' established proportions.
