Reaper Freddy /1550

Reaper Freddy, numbered 99 in the Funko Pop! Digital Halloween Series 2 collection, was released as part of Funko's entry into the digital collectible market. Introduced to bridge the gap between traditional physical vinyl collecting and blockchain-based digital assets, this item was minted in a strictly limited run of 1,550 units. Collectors earned the right to redeem a physical version of this figure by acquiring a corresponding 'Grail' or 'Legendary' non-fungible token during the series' digital drop window.

The figure features the iconic Funko mascot, Freddy Funko, reimagined in a grim reaper aesthetic to align with the horror theme of the second Halloween series. Designed in-house by Funko's creative team, the aesthetic focuses on the company's signature stylized vinyl proportions while incorporating thematic elements like a scythe and spectral cloak. Upon its release, the piece was received primarily by dedicated Funko enthusiasts and digital asset speculators, marking a notable shift in the brand's efforts to gamify the collecting experience.
