Ricochet Rabbit

Ricochet Rabbit debuted as part of the Pop! Pez line, a collaboration between Funko and the iconic candy brand that reimagines classic characters within the rigid, rectangular constraints of a Pez dispenser. Released to celebrate the Hanna-Barbera legacy, the figure draws inspiration from the high-energy sheriff character who first appeared in the 1964 television series The Magilla Gorilla Show. The design seeks to blend the stylized aesthetics of Funko’s signature vinyl collectibles with the functional nostalgia of a mechanical candy holder.

The figure was conceptualized by Funko’s in-house design team, who prioritized capturing the character's signature wide-brimmed hat and frantic expression within a monochromatic or limited-color palette common to the Pez series. While the Pop! Pez line often appeals to both animation historians and novelty collectors, Ricochet Rabbit represents a niche entry aimed at fans of mid-century Saturday morning cartoons. Its reception has been largely defined by its appeal to completist collectors of the Hanna-Barbera catalog rather than the broader mainstream audience.
