Where it came from
Saiko Yonebayashi, numbered 1126 in the Pop! Animation line, was released as part of the Funko collection dedicated to the Tokyo Ghoul: re series. The figure depicts the member of the Quinx Squad known for her relaxed demeanor and reliance on her kagune, reflecting the aesthetic shift seen in the sequel series of the popular dark fantasy manga and anime franchise created by Sui Ishida.
The design emphasizes Saiko’s signature appearance, capturing her distinct pastel-toned hair and casual posture, which contrast with the more severe character designs found elsewhere in the series. Funko’s approach for this wave was to distill the complex character designs of the CCG's Quinx Squad into the company’s standardized vinyl form, prioritizing the character's recognizable silhouette and key visual traits to satisfy fans of the animation style.
