Scorpion (Classic)

Scorpion, the iconic undead specter from the Mortal Kombat franchise, was immortalized in Funko's Pop! Games line as figure number 537. Released to celebrate the enduring legacy of the fighting game series, this version features the character in his classic yellow-and-black ninja attire, complete with his signature skull visage visible beneath his hood. The design draws directly from his appearance in the original 1992 arcade game and its subsequent retro iterations, aiming to capture the stark, nostalgic aesthetic that defined the series' origins.

The figure was produced as part of a broader push by Funko to license classic gaming intellectual property, catering to fans of mid-90s pop culture. As a standard release in the Pop! Games series, the design follows Funko's signature stylized approach, favoring oversized heads and simplified features to distill the complex character design of the original pixelated fighter into a recognizable desktop display piece. It was received as a staple addition for long-term Mortal Kombat enthusiasts looking to represent one of the medium's most recognizable combatants.
