Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Marvel collection to coincide with the 2022 film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, this figure depicts Shuri in her updated tactical gear. The design reflects the character's evolution within the Marvel Cinematic Universe as she assumes a more central, protective role for her nation, utilizing the distinct aesthetic cues established for the sequel's costume design.
The figure was produced as a mass-market collectible, maintaining Funko's signature stylized vinyl aesthetic with oversized proportions and simplified features. Like other figures in the Wakanda Forever wave, it was intended to serve as a recognizable memento of the film's visual identity, focusing on the refined tech-forward elements of Shuri's new ensemble.
