Provenance

Where it came from

The Shuri Pop! Art Series figure, numbered 69, was released as part of Funko's initiative to merge pop culture icons with distinct, abstract graphic design patterns. Released in conjunction with broader Black Panther merchandise lines, this specific iteration features a vibrant, screen-printed aesthetic intended to celebrate the character’s technological brilliance and her role as an innovative force within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The design utilizes a recurring geometric motif inspired by the Afrofuturist themes prevalent in Wakandan lore. By applying these bold, artistic overlays to the traditional Funko silhouette, the manufacturers sought to move beyond standard character representation toward a collectible art object. It was marketed exclusively through Walmart, serving as a specialized variant for collectors looking to bridge the gap between mass-market vinyl toys and stylized graphic design.
