Where it came from
The Stonekeeper Pop! figure was released as part of the Funko Pop! Movies line to commemorate the 2018 film Avengers: Infinity War. It depicts the Red Skull, who appears as the guardian of the Soul Stone on the planet Vormir, a role he adopted after his disappearance during the events of Captain America: The First Avenger. The figure was produced to capture the character's spectral, cinematic appearance, featuring his distinct robes and skeletal visage as seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Designed by Funko’s in-house creative team, this figure was part of a broader wave of merchandise aimed at fans of the Infinity Saga. The design choice aimed to balance the stylized aesthetic of the Pop! brand with the dark, ethereal tone of the character's return to the screen. Upon its release, the figure was generally well-received by collectors as a faithful representation of a pivotal, unexpected antagonist in the film’s narrative arc.
