Where it came from
Sukjai was introduced as part of the Pop! Asia series, specifically released to represent the mascot for the Tourism Authority of Thailand. The character, whose name translates to 'happy heart,' was designed to embody the friendly and welcoming spirit of Thai culture, serving as a cultural ambassador intended to promote tourism and national pride.
The figure features a distinct, rounded aesthetic typical of early Funko Pop! designs, prioritizing a simplified, approachable look to mirror the mascot’s cheerful persona. Upon its release, it became a sought-after collectible among international fans of the Pop! Asia line, valued as a unique representation of regional branding translated into the globally recognized Funko vinyl format.
