Where it came from
Vampire Jack, numbered 598 in the Funko Pop! Disney series, was released to celebrate the enduring legacy of Tim Burton’s 1993 stop-motion classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas. Produced by Funko, this figure captures the protagonist, Jack Skellington, in his vampire disguise from the film's iconic 'Town Meeting' sequence. The design reflects Funko’s signature stylized aesthetic, featuring the oversized head and simplified, expressive features that have defined the Pop! line since its inception in the early 2010s.
The figure was created as part of a recurring expansion of Nightmare Before Christmas collectibles, which remains one of the most prolific lines in Funko’s catalog due to the film’s status as a perennial cult favorite. Designers focused on the contrast between the character's skeletal frame and the dramatic cape and formal attire worn in the film. Upon release, it was well-received by fans of the franchise and figure collectors who value thematic variants, serving as a distinct piece within the broader, highly varied collection of Skellington iterations.
