Where it came from
The Arsenal set, identified as SDCC2015-5, was released as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive in 2015 as part of the DC Comics licensed collection. Produced during a period when DC-themed sets were prominently featured in event-exclusive releases, the figure represents the character Roy Harper in his Arsenal persona. This set was designed to cater to attendees seeking niche versions of popular DC sidekicks, capturing the specific visual aesthetic of the character as he appeared in the DC New 52 era.
The design of this figure leans into the utilitarian and tactical look established in his comic book iteration, featuring his signature red hood and archery equipment. As a limited-run convention exclusive, the set was intended to serve as a collectible for die-hard fans of the Arrowverse and DC comic lore. It was received as a sought-after addition to the convention's catalog, notable for its distinct character molding that stood out among the standard retail offerings available at the time.
