Where it came from
Released in 2022 as part of the Lego Friends theme, the Beach Bar set (562006-1) was designed as a promotional polybag item. These small-scale sets are frequently produced by the Lego Group to be distributed at specific retailers or through promotional events, offering an accessible entry point into the Friends universe, which focuses on the lives and adventures of characters in Heartlake City.
The design follows the established aesthetic of the Friends line, emphasizing bright color palettes, stylized mini-doll figures, and modular play elements. Like other sets in the theme, it was crafted to encourage imaginative social play, featuring a miniature refreshments counter and beach-themed accessories intended to capture the leisure-oriented narrative typical of the series' beachside sub-themes.
