Where it came from
The LEGO Friends Beach Smoothie Stand, set number 42625, was introduced in 2024 as part of the ongoing Friends line. This theme was established by the LEGO Group to feature more detailed character-driven narratives and a distinct aesthetic, focusing on the social lives and creative pursuits of a diverse cast of friends in Heartlake City. This specific set emphasizes a coastal lifestyle, providing a small-scale, accessible build centered around a mobile juice and smoothie kiosk.
The design of the set focuses on vibrant color palettes and modular playability characteristic of the Friends sub-theme. By incorporating specific accessories like fruit elements and a blender, the design team aimed to facilitate open-ended roleplay scenarios for younger builders. The set reflects the brand’s broader design philosophy of creating compact, relatable environments that encourage imaginative storytelling while remaining visually cohesive with the larger Heartlake City universe.
