Where it came from
Released in 2019, the LEGO Minifigures Disney Series 2 (71024) served as a follow-up to the successful initial 2016 wave, capitalizing on the enduring popularity of both classic Disney animation and contemporary Pixar characters. The collection was designed to offer fans highly detailed, blind-bagged collectibles, featuring a mix of iconic figures such as vintage Mickey and Minnie Mouse, alongside characters like Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, and figures from films such as Aladdin, Hercules, and The Incredibles.
The design process focused on capturing the distinct personalities of these characters through custom-molded hairpieces, accessories, and intricate torso printing. As part of the Collectible Minifigures (CMF) line, the series was received with enthusiasm by adult collectors and families alike, reinforcing the collaborative relationship between The LEGO Group and Disney. The sealed box format signifies a complete display unit, a sought-after presentation for enthusiasts who value the original factory-distributed state of the series.
