LEGO Minifigures - Series 21 - Complete

Released in early 2021 as the twenty-first collection in the long-running LEGO Minifigures blind-bag theme, this series marked a significant shift in production. To reduce packaging waste and address consumer feedback regarding the environmental impact of the series, LEGO transitioned the blind bags from traditional plastic to a more sustainable, recyclable paper-based material. This specific set features a diverse cast of twelve original characters, ranging from the Centaur Warrior and the Shipwreck Survivor to the modern-day Beekeeper and Pug Costume Guy, reflecting a move toward more imaginative, standalone character concepts rather than strictly licensed intellectual properties.

The character designs were developed by the internal LEGO creative team to showcase advanced printing techniques and unique molded accessories. The series was well-received by collectors for its blend of detailed costume designs and functional play pieces, such as the honeycomb element for the Beekeeper and the printed tiles for the Violinist. By maintaining a mix of historical, fantasy, and contemporary archetypes, the set continues the tradition of the Collectible Minifigure line as a curated display of the company's evolving design capabilities and attention to intricate, small-scale character storytelling.
